The Martin Luther King Holiday on Monday, January 16 is the only day this month that MAHS is scheduled to be closed. If the snow holds off, there will be 19 days of school this month, giving students a good start for the Spring Semester. Progress Reports should be out on January 27th.

Rosetta Stone for MAHS families!
It is time to learn another language! MAHS has a grant to offer online learning with Rosetta Stone to the families of our staff and students! All you need is an email address, internet connection and time to learn!
If you want to enroll, just click here to send a message to our administrator. You will need to give your name, an email address, the language you wish to study and your relationship to a member of the staff or student body of MAHS. The languages offered are Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Dutch, English (American), English (British), Filipino (Tagalog), French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Spain), Turkish, Vietnamese.

MAHS is 2011 National Blue Ribbon School!
MOUNT AIRY HIGH SCHOOL has been named a 2011 National Blue Ribbon School! U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan recognized 304 schools across the nation as 2011 National Blue Ribbon Schools. “National Blue Ribbon Schools are committed to accelerating student achievement and preparing students for success in college and careers. Their success is an example for others to follow.” said Secretray Duncan.
